2021: Another year of triumph, or year of confusion?

2021: Another year of triumph, or year of confusion?

Is this the right title or not? As all we aware about 2020, it did not go away as we all planned. A worldwide covid-19 pandemic closed us in place, closing many businesses, social lives down and our businesses for good. Awfully, most of the people did not have any idea what to do with this situation or tackle this pandemic. Instead of amalgamating together as a country or more broadly as a world, we completed becoming even more isolated, due to several reasons i.e. nature of the virus itself, but merely because of the way that our political and cultural conversation has headed.

As we were not enabled to put off these differences that’s why it cost us greatly. Just because of this, another year of our lives away from the family, another year of wasted time for most of us not to gain our defined goals. More shockingly, another year with the strange relationship between god and the temple.

Temple is not required to communicate with God but it serves as a place for fellow believers to have a good community, where iron can sharp the iron thus faith can grow. In a tough situation, we are required to help others and bring comfort to others so, it is imperative to be together. Yet most of 2020, our temples were closed to the public and too much far away from our hearts and minds.

This statement does not make to belittle the virus. As most of the people who had it and had several pretty bad symptoms. I can say that virus is Not Fun. There are lots of people (close friends) who had also loved ones lose family members and people that they like to the virus. So, I want to highlight that I am in no way belittling, how serious of a situation we are in, especially for the children and older people.

I am often finding myself wishing that I was in the temple more and more. I yearn too much for a small sense of stewardship, normality and friendship. I want to go out and explores the city and explore myself, may that’s damn petty, but, I want that. Most of all, I miss the routine that able me to interconnect with god and a steady schedule that I can be reached out sincerely and publicly at least once a week. I miss my family meetings, friends dine out when we discuss our careers, exciting life events, dressings and our future planning’s.

We may have added time to ourselves, but lost time with the god and family and our extended families. Even most of us may have achieved a fair number of ambitions and position in our careers, but we all have lost our similitude of ourselves. In short words, we might have achieved the world, but in this process may have missed our souls.

So, it is my call to all believers: Let’s get back our souls. We can stay healthier in our body, but initially, we should get our exists back on track with God and with others as well. At the temple, the slogan is “Connects people with the god, people with people and people to service”.

In conclusion, let’s try to make 2021 the year of discipleship or make 2021 a year of triumph. Let’s make the year 2021 is LORD.

Jai Hind! Jai Bharat! πŸ˜‡πŸ˜ƒ
